word-craft is a social media marketing agency headquartered in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. word-craft specializes in organic social media strategy, content creation and community management for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. CEO and Founder, Ingrid Deon, started word-craft in October 2019 as a solopreneur after having worked at a digital marketing agency in Halifax/Toronto for 3+ years. She started the business with four clients -- a small record label, Cove Kombucha, Manulife Bank of Canada and Nestlé Canada. Because of Ingrid's expertise and passion for social media, the business started growing quite quickly.
In 2020, she hired her first employee and word-craft grew to a team of two. In 2021, she hired two more employees and took on dozens of new clients. Today, word-craft is a team of six talented women who work with 20 clients both locally and nationally. The company continues to grow rapidly but still works with local clients such as Bêche Nutraceutical, D'Eon Oyster Co and the Red Cap Restaurant and Motel. Ingrid is adamant about hiring local talent and giving opportunities to people in the Yarmouth area to work in a world-class digital marketing agency.
